Welcome to grasruts zine, a place that offers West Midlands artists a platform to meet and grow. Our mission is to bring you art news and gossip from the West Midlands area, to report and review exhibitions and to give space to emerging creatives. Founded in 2023 by two students from Coventry University, we are a growing community and platform publishing a quarterly edition on line and in print, now we have ten issues produced, proudly supporting over seventy artists. 

grasruts is run by volunteers and we fund our print run through donations, if you would like to donate visit our go fund me page via the QR code or contact us. We want to continue providing grasruts as a free resource to both artists and readers because we believe that creativity should be nurtured from the roots…
